Here is my reply to her without the restrictions of Twitter’s character limit.
“G+ uses the full screen width and pays attention to design principles. So many other social sites have everything bunched up really small. Which itself is a problem when there are adverts to contend with. As there are no adverts on G+, that isn’t a problem. Then there are collections and a ton of communities for any interest you can imagine. It’s a great place for meeting new people and engaging with them. Oh and then there is post formatting, which makes posts easier to read. The list goes on.”
