Despite all the rhetoric coming out of Washington and despite government cuts in the UK and despite everything else going on in the world, solar and wind are doing incredibly well.
For instance, the 25th March was the first time in the UK where electricity demand in the afternoon was less than at night. Think about that for a moment. The UK is not known for vast amounts of sunny days and yet solar did so well installed on people’s houses (in March!), that demand on the national grid dropped enough to make it a record breaking moment. Yes, solar works in the UK!
