I have wondered some of the same things as Robert Llewellyn mentions in this video.
For instance, why on Earth isn’t it mandatory for all new build homes in the UK to be fitted with solar voltaic panels and battery storage? It’s an easy win and would make so much sense for the home owner and the environment.
We hear about clever things that architects and designers have done in remote locations (well, they’re a long way from here) and the term ‘passive house’ is bandied about. It turns out, it isn’t all that expensive either. I wonder why they aren’t being built on a large scale…
