Not only did we see long periods of zero coal generation in the UK last week for the first time since 1882 but April 2016 also saw wind energy generate more electricity than coal for an entire month for the first time ever!
This comes as April 2016 was declared the hottest April on record globally and the seventh month in a row to have broken global temperature records.
It’s time to move on from polluting fossil fuels.
