Seriously, it works. A lot of the time. That is why it is a cliche.
Coming from a support background myself, I know the difficulties faced when talking to people about their tech problems. I also know what it is like to speak to Help Desks and how infuriating it can be sometimes for those needing support.
While I cannot promise a magic cure all that will fix everything at the drop of a hat, I can at least try and offer some advice to make things a bit easier on you. Hopefully you’ll lose less hair that way.

It was an approved Airbus instruction for many avionic glitches. Ground power off, batteries off. Count 30 seconds. All back on again.
Error message gone 9/10 times.

That really fills me with confidence, knowing that piece of Civil Aviation troubleshooting is SOP on an Airbus, I won’t share it with my wife as I’m unlikely to ever persuade her to get on a plane again if I do Malcolm Oakley
