Windows is great and 10 seems epic! Start menu, multiple desktops come first party, Cortana, snapping, lighter UI option, uses barely any ram, runs more software than any other OS, touch and mouse n keyboard.
I really wish they would remove the requirement for processor virtualisation to be able to install Windows 8 and 10 on a VM. I have been unable to get a working install of either on my trusty old PC at home, while every other OS I have tried works straight away in VirtualBox.

My grand daughter loves windows 8 but I’m not so keen. A start menu can only improve windows 10.

What type? My and CPU needed me to manually allow svm/virtualisation acceleration fr the bios.
Alan Stainer says
David Cooltions it’s an older AMD dual core processor and the option just isn’t there in the bios. I will need to upgrade at some point I think.
David Cooltions says
