Electric flying is becoming a reality
So says the CEO of easyJet and you have to sit up and listen, because easyJet is a major airline and the CEO wouldn’t say something like that unless it was commercially viable.
They will be testing a plane in 2019 that can sit 9 people, but plan to eventually roll out 150 seater planes for short haul flights which account for 30% of all flights.
Great news for the planet in the battle against pollution!

Long distance flights will be the last form of transport to use fossil fuels. Everything else is feasible to replace using better development of existing technologies.

Panu Honka Helium is a rare resource. I’d rather see them use hydrogen for lift since it is easiy renewed.
