I have never seen an advertisement for an EV of any kind in the US. The Fossil Carbon Energy Industrial Complex owns the US media through their ad dollars, and refuses to promote anything that competes with their primary product lines. EV popularity is growing only through word of mouth and Climate Change awareness. My 2012 Nissan Leaf is getting cheaper than an equivalent 30 mpg ICE vehicle at the average rate of $1700 per year with gasoline at $2.50/gal.
