They’re brilliant. Highly recommended. Even more fun are the highly illegal, off road versions. Full downhill bike but with 2kw through the gears. look for Bafang BBS02 and BBS-HD.
Now can we please have shopper utility bikes. Sit up, comfy seat, rack and baskets front and rear, mudguards.
And finally, we really need to sort out built in security. It shouldn’t be an afterthought. And it should work. And it should be really easy to use so you always use it. There’s too many thieving bastards in the big cities.
