Lack of a real charger network will be a big letdown.

What happens if you take Porche for a 400 kms run and find there is no way to charge your batteries in your place of arrival?

Haridas Panicker the same thing that would happen if you took your ICE vehicle on a long drive and there was no filling station. Honestly that was a daft comment. The point the article is making is that they are actually trying to sort out the distribution network now, before the EV comes out next year.

There is a lot of talk from companies like Porsche about creating chargers, but no real commitment I can see to build something practical like Tesla’s supercharger network. I think this will really hinder their adoption.

Michael Nestler you may be right, although a few years ago even the thought of traditional car manufacturers making EVs was far fetched. Times are changing and we have Tesla in part to thank for that.
