Bringing people closer together
That’s a rather vague title for basically saying, we’re cutting back on news feed content from brands, because people just don’t like it.
That is bad for brand pages, but potentially good for the people the network was originally designed for, everyone else.

When it comes to Facebook, I always assume the worst.
Here, on top of this change probably being necessary because of recent events (making public opinion “hackable” on a big scale), I assume that it also will be possible for brand pages to pay for better positions in people’s streams.
