Five-year triumph: Ultra-low emission vehicle sales in UK surge by 1,800%

Now it must not be forgotten that with low numbers a high percentage does not really mean that much in real terms. However, it is definitely a strong indicator that we are moving in the right direction and those are indeed growing.

    Even full size SUV’s in the U.S. or, hybrid vehicles have had very low or almost 0 emissions for over 15 years now. Unless they are performance modified or special purpose vehicles.

    Only because gas prices are on their way back up.

    SUVs and larger vehicles in the US still get terrible gas mileage and have high emmissions compared to their economic counterparts.
