Japan Develops Unique Wave-Catching Turbines to Harvest Power

Now this is good thinking. Around the coastline of Japan are tetrapods. These are designed to weaken the force of the waves to protect the shoreline. So instead of just wasting all of that energy, why not put in a turbine to generate some free electricity instead?
