Google grabs a big client away from Microsoft
Migrating any sized business from one platform to another is going to have a few hurdles to cross.
However, from my personal experience, transitioning to G Suite is relatively painless. For a start you don’t have to worry about installing bloatware onto (in Nielsen’s case) 56,000 machines. Everything you need is already there, because you simply open your internet browser, log in and start working. Let’s face it, Microsoft’s Office 365 does allow you to log in via the browser, but most people still use the old school Office applications installed on their desktops because that’s the way they have always worked. For G Suite that’s a massive administrative cost saving right there.
Also from my experience, the collaboration tools within G Suite are far superior to those within Office 365. To me there is no contest in that regard.
Anyway, well done G Suite on the win.
