What is the silliest thing you have done with a client?

What is the silliest thing you have done with a client?

Building a strong relationship with your clients is really important. It’s not all about work and feeling confident enough to be a little silly sometimes can do a world of good.

So when I visited a customer this morning, I moon walked on the doormat to wipe my feet.

Thames Valley Discos perhaps you could give them their own theme tune to start each day. I suggest this well known track by Men At Work.

Think it will take more than that, would not appear there is any job satisfaction here

I had two different sofas to collect for two different customers once. One was a lovely cream colour, the other a very bright green, lets say it required a desired taste. The first drop off was the lady waiting for the cream coloured one. For a jovial bit of fun, I purposely took the Green one off the van expecting her to stop me in my tracks, instead she let me get all the way to the door before noticing.

One year when I was at the business awards of the newspaper I used to write for as business editor, I offered to speak to liven it up as the editor and head of advertising had absolutely no charisma as presenters. They didn’t ask me what I was going to say, so after the dinner and before the awards, I got up and sang the song from the old Opal Fruits advert to several hundred stunned business owners. I did have a purpose as when I asked how many people remembered the song from 20 or 30 years ago, many put up their hands, which I said demonstrated the value of great copywriting.
