Facebook Inconsistency
Facebook don’t seem to be able to keep it together when it comes to consistency. That’s bad design and for such a large company it really is quite shocking.
Anyway, I felt the need to vent my spleen about some design inconsistencies. You’ll see what I mean if you look at the header in the video. Watch it closely and be annoyed.

But bad design is a feature of Facebook isn’t it? It certainly was the case when I last used it 5+ years ago I don’t see why it would be any different now.
I do certainly recall being equally furious at its poor usability, hidden settings, super tiny font, invasive ads, constant notifications, irrelevant recommendations and the list goes on and on…

Alan Stainer Do you still use it for marketing purposes like maintaining a page for work or because you have too many friends and relatives using it?
I deleted my account years ago and I have never regretted it, before I did I made sure to heavily promote my G+ presence if people cared enough to find me there. I don’t think it made much difference but at least I don’t have to deal with the horrors of a Facebook presence anymore.

Jean-Loup Rebours-Smith I am in the ‘I don’t like Facebook and don’t want to use it, but have to’ crowd.
If people started using something else (not necessarily G+, but that would be good) and stopped using Facebook, I would dance a happy jig and leave it before the dust had settled.
