Windows 10 isn’t an operating system, it’s an advertising platform

I don’t use Windows other than when I am fixing someone else’s machine. The way Microsoft constantly bombard you with self promotional notifications is a distraction at best, but it soon becomes a real annoyance.

Something has got to give, hasn’t it?

    I am happy to be in a position to honestly say that, despite working in high tech, I’ve never actually used Windows 10 – I wouldn’t recognize a screen shot if I saw it.

    Windows 10 requires a good machine with good specifications otherwise your in for a rough ride. Minimum recommended memory is 4gb but I go with 8gb.

    No actually which os the first u kept that one I have 2 use . But my photos and videosare deleted when I changed the theme .so what should I do get regain them

    I do own an Ivory PC, (running under Windows 7).

    When Windows 10 came out (Microsoft ‘offered’ a ‘free compatibility test’).

    My PC passed it, (but luckily I did NOT choose the free download, yet…)

    I think their compatibility tests suck… When I upgraded, one or two of the old programs no longer worked… Tried to run under compatibility mode, totally failed. However, other than this setback, I am totally happy with it. Perhaps its because I upgraded from win8.
