    Nicholas Berry when I test drove a Nissan Leaf a while back, I was struck by how smooth everything was. None of the vibrations that you normally get from an internal combustion engine. It makes you realise how old fashioned petrol and diesel engines are.

    Yes, I shall have to have a go in one some time (preferably the N10 rather than a Prius). Highways would have to do something about our particular stretch of the A27, to make the absence of engine vibrations a boon.

    Struggling to comprehend an electric motor in my (somewhat old-fashioned) Caterham though. Likely lose most of the ‘drama’ that is part of the driving experience.
