Robert Llewellyn makes some very good points in this video.
1) The electric engine is way better than the 2.0 litre petrol engine, so it may encourage people who aren’t sure about EV technology to trust EVs in general.
2) Waiting at a petrol station (or gas station if you prefer) really does suck!
3) As a car, the price is comparable (after taking into account government grants) with the standard petrol and diesel models. However, it is so much cheaper to run. Why would you buy the other pure ICE models?
