This is also rubbish
General waste collections are going to be done on a fortnightly basis instead of every week. Apparently they want to encourage recycling as well as saving money.
Don’t they realise that our recycle bins are often overflowing because they only get collected once every couple of weeks? It’s worse at Christmas and don’t even think about missing a collection yourself. Now they are doing the same with general waste. Just think of all that lovely kitchen waste rotting away for two weeks…

rubbish is weekly with recycling 2 weekly !!! so far so good !!!
That’s what we have at the moment. However, general waste is going to be every two weeks as well.
