Astral Foxy the article goes into a bit more detail than simply giving a company your credit card details to purchase something. Heck, it didn’t even mention the whole WiFi Sense debacle. I mean, would you like someone visiting your house to be able to share access to your WiFi with all of their Facebook, Outlook and Skype contacts, without your knowledge? Really?

Alan Stainer In addition, it installs so much crap that lures you to buy stuff you never asked for in the first place. Tons of useless trial versions.

I will never ever use any Microsoft products even all gold from Fort Knox is offered, since had a very bad experience of virtually some one taking over my computer after upgrading to Win 10… traumatic experience. Learnt Linux and changed the machine environment.

I have a client who’s computer has been running slow, when client purchase the computer it came preload with a lot of bloated ware, including McAfee. I found that McAfee was running a lot in the background and i turn it off and uninstall it. However I wanted to recommend some anti-virus software, but i can’t separate the good from the bad. I wanted to know if there is any good anti-virus software that’s good for an i3 laptop, and doesn’t take up to much computing power. Thanks in advance, if you know something good let me know.

Alan Stainer I totally agree with you.i use it as well. I wanted to give my client a range of opinion so they would limited to one opinion. Speaking of i wanted to see if people used anything else besides what Malware bytes. Nevertheless i was hoping people would tell me more about bitdefender,ESET NOD32 or anything else they were using.
