    It is interesting (and quite true) that there are two types of video chat users. Broadcasters and people that simply want to chat with other people. I think all services of a similar nature are going to struggle coming to grips with that.

    Yes, that’s so true. I suppose the trick then is to create one that can support both equally.

    I liked Blab because it wasn’t heavy on the system. The first time I used it, I was amazed at how smooth the stream was, no lag at all.

    I never used Blab, but I heard that about it. Also it was simple to use, which is one reason people started using it instead of Hangouts.

    I believe the new thing they refer to is already launched – it’s a chat app called Bibo. If you check it out in the Play Store, it looks a lot like Blab. It’s the social without the public live stream.
