Log roadkill on an app and help conservation work
Crowd sourcing data is a big thing. Recently I shared a piece about the CleanSpace Tag, which crowd sources information about carbon monoxide levels. I have also written this (in my tech column for the local paper) about apps that crowd source cellular network coverage.
Now the People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES) is turning to crowd sourcing, to get as much information about the UK’s wildlife population as possible. All done via an app.
