Don’t fall for Microsoft’s ‘offer’
It has been well known for a while now that Microsoft are reducing the free storage allocation for OneDrive. Helpfully they are suggesting people take up an Office 365 subscription…
Well instead of being forced into paying a subscription fee just to carry on as before with Windows, why not instead of all that do the obvious.
Google Drive gives you 15 GBs of free storage, but also gives you access to Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms for free. On top of that Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms don’t count against your storage limit.
Got loads of photos? Fine, because Google Photos gives you free unlimited storage at high resolution (anything below 16 megapixels).
Oh and then of course there is Gmail and all the rest.
Who needs Microsoft Office and OneDrive anyway?

Mohammad Najmi Bachok and if you are using it for backups, you should also make your own offline backups. I found a 256GB USB thumb drive going very cheaply recently. Large amounts of storage is within easy reach for everyone.
