Other times things are said in the media which amount to spreading bovine faecal matter in the hopes that people will be gullible enough to believe it. Like the story about electric vehicles being more polluting than petrol and diesel. Yeah I know! I couldn’t believe it when someone in my family took me aside and mentioned it in all seriousness and with good authority. Great bit of ranting Robert Llewellyn, perhaps you should write a counter piece for the offending paper(s)?

One of my submarines was a diesel-electric. It is not hard to figure out which is more polluting, snorkeling on the diesels or operating on the battery. Try breathing diesel for a few months. Then ask your wife what you smell like.
