Alan Stainer The other reason I shared this, I lived in The West Midlands and Warwickshire, UK – back in 2008, Google Apps were laughed at when Taylor Woodrow Homes went google appps.. http://www.itpro.co.uk/604173/taylor-woodrow-saves-1-million-with-google-apps .. Then came TATA Jaguar Land Rover and then many others going google ..  In my view, there still is a big stigma and suspicions attached to google ‘anything’ — Yet Google Apps are just fine with USA Army, Navy, Air Force etc…

I know you know this — but when you see stuff face to face in your local areas it all gets frustrating at times ..

I know exactly what you mean Mike Downes It’s a similar story when talking about alternatives to using the Windows operating system. I think part of it may be that people don’t realise you really can do everything you need to do without spending a fortune.

Alan Stainer Leads to the other point how  ‘free advice’ is blanked, when businesses would rather spend a few 1,000 $s on something, giving them a false feeling .. we had all this with a discussion with Tim Capper a few months ago ..
