Just found time to watch the big unveiling of the Model 3. It is impressive, but not just because of the car itself. The factory that Tesla built to handle the production of all those batteries is staggering!

If Tesla plans to expand their market from the One Percent into the 99%, the price will have to come down, as every other product has done throughout history.
Tesla and ev’s are a very very small market in Australia. It will take some time before that changes. Also don’t forget that we have taxes and charges that blows out the costs. So a 35k car in the US can end up being a 70k car which is out of the reach of most Australians.
