Switching energy supplier
Switching suppliers has been in the news a lot this week in the UK, as a report has found that approximately 70% of UK customers stay with their current provider. This in turn has lead to speculation that the ‘big 6’ suppliers are ripping off their customers.
The proposed change to counter this is to automatically add households to a list if they haven’t switched in the last few years. The list will then be made available to rival energy suppliers to try and coax customers away from their current supplier.
Well, not being one to sit still and watch things happen, I decided to switch a few weeks ago. The supplier took over a couple of days ago and without a hitch.
The good news? Not only did we save money, but we also went green in our house too. So I thought I would give a quick shout out to Ecotricity
We did the same and found GB Energy to be the best in December. No contract and we can change again if we find a better deal…fantastic.
