NissanConnect EV app pulled
A vulnerability was found in the Nissan app that allows the Nissan Leaf to be hacked. That in turns allows someone to remotely control certain systems (like the heating, etc.).
Nissan have pulled the app and stated an update will be available soon.

I just received my letter from Nissan about enrolling in NissanConnect EV replacement service.

Here is a question… why do you want to remotely control heating or cooling in a car?

Convenience. It means you can warm your car on a cold day without stepping out of the house. Okay, some might call it laziness.
