Google Drive for Linux

Google Drive for Linux

I really wish I didn’t have to install DropBox on my Linux PC, but I have.

If Google Drive had a Linux client out, I would be all over it in a shot.

Really Google, you are missing a trick here.

But we shouldn’t need to use a third party.

Nothing is wrong with DropBox Richard Andrews, but I would still prefer to be using Google Drive instead.

A quick update. I have stopped using DropBox already.

The reason being that I had a fair bit of data stored in Copy. Copy is being discontinued on the 1st May 2016, hence the need for something similar. Copy gave 15 GBs of space for free (no need for that old referral rubbish), which meant I had exceeded the free allocation that DropBox gives.

Now I am resorting to that old favourite, using a shared drive at home. Which incidentally misses many of the advantages of using cloud storage, but at least it works with all of my PCs and laptops in the house.
