Microsoft Services will soon be pre-installed on Acer phones and tablets
This may be good news for some, not least Microsoft, but…
I don’t think it is to the benefit of anyone to have third party applications pre-installed on anything.
This applies to PCs and laptops as well as the aforementioned phones and tablets.
Pre-installed applications are often referred to as bloatware. Why? It is simple, anything that saturates your device, using up resources and slowing it down is not what you want. Especially as on a lot of mobile devices you find you cannot actually uninstall the apps that have been pre-loaded.
