Google Star Wars Easter Egg

Go to the Google Search page and type in:

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away

You will love the result.

If you can’t be bothered to type it…

Nope Alan Stainer you are the third person I have seen put up this and it just returns a regular google page when I do click.

Could be a Google personalised search thing because I am not the least bit interested in the film so have never looked for anything about it.

I dunno but it certainly makes no difference here.

What browser are you using Ian Dixon? I just tried it in Firefox and noticed it doesn’t work. It does work in Chrome though. Oh and it’s not a personalised search thing, as it works in incognito mode too.

Alan Stainer yep it is a browser thing.

I just tried it in Chrome and it works but not in Firefox. No way am I opening IE to see what happens there.

Seems like Google had a bad hair day with this one though. They tell to put UX at the forefront yet they put it at the backdoor of their own site.
