Scotland’s renewable energy output keeps expanding, which would be great news if not for the fact that the right wing UK government wants to cut subsidies to the renewables sector.
It’s like they’ve been drinking the Republican rhetoric of how Climate Change isn’t a big deal (spoiler alert: it is, just look at this wave of people dying to cross the Mediterranean in search of a better life)
Next we’ll hear them tell us as the sun is entering a lower activity phase we’ll a a new ice age anyway, or whatever twist they can make of scientific research to justify the continuation of the burning of fossil fuels.
