This is a great story about a girl and her dad. It makes me think about the relationship I have with my own daughter and what may happen in the future.
Alfredo Tigolo Windows is popular in the sense that it is the most common. That doesn’t mean it is right for everyone either though.
I know Windows 8 (and by extension 8.1) is loathed by many and for them popular is not a word they would assign to it. The problem is that a lot of them are simply not aware of the range of choice that is available to them when it comes to desktop operating systems.
Not only about being aware about other operating systems, but also have the technical know how to try before you buy skills. Some examples of software to try other operating system that I used are Oracle VM VirtualBox or VMWare Workstation 10
Oracle VM VirtualBox is one I use. Very handy. Aside from that there are of course bootable CDs, DVDs and USB sticks. One trick I use regularly when fixing Windows PCs is to boot from an Ubuntu Live CD to recover data from a corrupted Windows install. It isn’t that difficult to create a live CD and there is no reason why anyone couldn’t try out Linux that way without messing around with their existing setup.

Linux is not for everyone. It seems Microsoft Windows is more the popular operating system. I could be wrong.
