Orkney – Island of the Future

May 19, 2015 by Alan Stainer

Orkney – Island of the Future

Orkney are setting an example for the rest of the UK. Not only do they generate enough electricity from renewable energy sources for themselves, they produce more than they need and export the excess!

No fossil fuels were used in this production.

We all know those creatures, the “Renewable Energy Sceptics”, though there are fewer of them than there used to be when Gregory Barker was Minister for Energy, since they have no means of procreating either by cell division or by any other method. Orkney should be the final nail in their coffin! #Ludites   #BigOilLickspittals   #Fossils

Golden Bunny How is the car working for you? Do people ask you about it? Is it easy to charge where you are? Does your dad enjoy selling the Leaf vs. any other car he sold before? One more, how long have you had the Zoe?

msyin9 So many questions!! The car is working good and yes people do stop and ask about it. It is quite easy to charge because we have 2 home chargers. Yes he does. We have had the Zoe a year and a half.
