Tattoos Can Cause Apple Watches To Malfunction

I thought as you probably do from the title that this must be a joke.

Apparently it is not. The watch senses light absorption through the skin, to know when it has left your wrist. Tattoos change that absorption and make the Apple Watch unable to detect the wrist, forcing owners to repeatedly log in with their PIN. Otherwise the watch ceases to receive updates, etc.
