    This reminded me Alan Stainer. Interesting the use of focused solar power was first used by an Italian company which created superheated steam in a tower. The plant was a success. The Ivanpah was much talked about and there were many critics due to it’s propensity to fry birds which happened to cross the concentrated solar beams.

    But they have managed to sort out a lot of the issues. Further some scientists and researchers who worked on polished mirror surfaces on optical telescopes have made some amazing strides on reflector surfaces.
