I get asked about sub domains, sub folders, multiple domains and what you should do often by business owners.
As with pretty much everything in life, you can apply KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). One site and one domain. That is your best bet when it comes to SEO and saves you a lot of head aches.

Makes perfect sense to me. I “own” my brands and likewise I want Google to be able to find my best niche content on the niche site.
