Apple posts record profits again
This is the bit that stands out for me in the article.
“Others have a bigger share of the market – Samsung, for instance, actually sells more phones than Apple – but Apple makes just an extraordinary amount of money from this one phone.”
Meaning, in the grand scheme of things Apple is not the biggest player in the world, but they are certainly the most profitable. The fact they get so much media attention is because they are selling something other than Android.

Funny old world. The May Day protestors always target banks and McDonald’s but seem to turn a blind eye to Apple stores. Apple are quite obviously ripping off their suppliers, manufacturers and customers to the tune of millions.
Maybe, as I suspect, the protestors listen to iTunes as they smash restaurant windows!
