Alan Stainer I think it looks like something that I couldn’t possibly say on here! That is horrendous!
That’s why we give them names. The kids aren’t half as scared if we say the spider is called Nigel or Claire.
Alan Stainer that’s a great idea! Kids shouldn’t be afraid of anything, I’ll introduce that to mine (whilst standing on a stool!)

We sometimes name them Shelob or Aragog. Well, when I say we I mean I. ;)
I would call that one ‘A very valid reason to run screaming from the room’
Admittedly it’s not quite as catchy as Barry :-)
