What exactly is SEO? Round 2
In this week’s Whiteboard Friday, Rand Fishkin explains the complexities of SEO and why it is such a large area of study.
This follows on nicely from Mark Tillison’s blog post that I shared yesterday ( https://plus.google.com/105633786051970227142/posts/g6D678HoJEg ) which differentiates SEO from the other practices that fall within the content marketing umbrella.
So which is right? Is SEO an all encompassing field, or just a part of something bigger? Is SEO in fact just a handy little acronym to throw around, which may or may not be technically correct, but which helps people understand at a basic level that it includes x number of different processes?
I’ll let you decide. Oh and watch the Whiteboard Friday. It’s another cracker.
