After lurking in various G+ Help communities recently I’m not too sure how the ‘real name’ policy is working out for G+ to be honest. There’s a lot of fakery, spam and breaking (wittingly or otherwise) of the guidelines. I guess some people will always try to game the system sadly.
So I’m trying to concentrate on my own little perception of G+ which is a place you can find and connect with people that share your passions (who aren’t always the people you went to school with or work with).
My $0.5c worth :)
Priya Chandra a lot of that started when G+ was integrated with YouTube. As an analogy it still works though, as whatever you call yourself will be the name you carry around with you whenever you are signed into anything Google.
Oh and if you spot any fake accounts, do what I do and report them.
Ahh the good old block button :) That gets a great work out some days. And yes, your analogy is still very relevant, I should have made my ageeement more clear in my original comment.
