My home PC kept crashing recently whenever it was doing something complicated.

I apply the vacuum cleaner to mine on a regular basis Alan Stainer having had much fun over the years with the build up of internal dust and fluff. Might have saved an over heating laptop from oblivion if I’d thought of it earlier.
Run the vacuum nozzle over the keyboard too because that gets clogged up and will stop working.
